Ever since he ran his own eponymous firm, the Law Offices of Jeffrey Nemecek, between 1992 and 1997, Jeffrey has worked with other prominent law firms, primarily in their public financing practice. These days, he counsels clients as an Of Counsel at Denton’s in New York City, where he is primarily addressing the Puerto Rico fiscal crisis and debt restructuring, but he has also been Of Counselor a Partner at Axiom Legal, from 2011-2016, Tillinghast Lichtenstein LLP, from 2006-2008, and about a half dozen other prominent firms since 1976.
In addition to his long career as an attorney, Jeffrey Nemecek has lots of education in his background, starting with his Bachelor’s Degree from Hamilton College, located in Clinton, New York, which he earned in 1970 before he went on tothe University of Chicago Law School, where he obtained his Juris Doctor Law Degree in 1974. He has been admitted to practice law in Alabama since 1975, New York since 1977, Minnesota since 1984, Florida in 1987 and New Jersey since 1989.
